NSC Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Lift Technicians for a temp to perm position in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

 

JOB DETAILS:

PAY: $70-75k

HOURS: 40-50     

DURATION: Direct Hire 

SCOPE:

• Ensures welding and brazing procedures, welders, welding operators are qualified in accordance with guidelines and contract requirements
• Assists managing a team of welders
• Assists in the establishing of processes and procedures necessary to ensure the quality of welding at the business including but not limited to welding sequences to minimize distortion, preheat/post heat controls, and weld repair techniques
• Works closely with Assistant VP of Operations to maintain the quality of welding and identify improvements in the welding process
• Provides Weld repair recommendations
• Aids in development of weld procedures and qualifications
• Makes sure that there is a reduction of weld defects
• Develops further existing fitting & welding processes and tools
• Assists with equipment specification and purchase
• Understands and ensures compliance with contract documents and Class requirements
