Job Summary: Responsible for the design, specifications and management of installations of integrated systems.
Essential Functions
- Attend the Installation Turnover meeting with the Project Manager to understand all related
information, schedules, and documentation. - Verify all the drawings, code, site pictures, and job descriptions are complete and that access to them
has been granted - Assemble and test equipment racks per the rack build schedule.
- Ensure the equipment is programmed, configured, and tested prior to onsite installation.
- Make certain all cables, connectors, hardware, and tools needed to complete the project are available

- Advanced understanding of structural mounting
- Advanced IP Networking Knowledge
- Advanced AV system troubleshooting skills
- Setup and connection of VTC units (Cisco, Lifesize, Polycom, etc..)
- Setup and load code into Control Systems, Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc…)
- Setup and load code into DSP (BSS, Biamp, ClearOne, etc…)
- Terminate Fiber
- Install and configure interactive displays (SMART, Planar, etc…)
- After-hours and/or travel may be required.
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Ability to work from a ladder
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Scissor Lift Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit good teamwork
- Respect coworkers, clients, vendors, and all other project staff
- Take responsibility for all actions and activities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
