NSC Staffing is seeking an experienced Painter / Blaster for a crucial upcoming project in Honolulu, HI. We seek candidates with 3-10 years of experience and a strong understanding of shipboard and industrial/commercial painter/blaster practices, particularly in military and industrial environments

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Blaster to join our team. In this role, you will perform blasting and painting operations using marine coatings by specified contract requirements. You will need a solid understanding of blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and millage requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision.
• Demonstrate proficiency in connecting airlines to the manifold and applying coatings on horizontal, vertical, and side surfaces.
• Perform sandblasting and effectively utilize all components of blasting equipment.
• Identify and rectify any deficiencies in blasting and painting to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a painter/blaster in a marine or industrial setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and millage requirements.
• Ability to perform all blasting functions and applications with precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and correct deficiencies in blasting and painting processes.

• Familiarity with various marine coating systems and their application techniques.
• Experience working in a shipyard or similar environment.
