Position: Cable Technician

Position Summary: 

Anistar is seeking an experienced Cable Technician for a contract opportunity. Will be kicking off with 4 weeks of work, then be 1-2 weeks on, 1-2 weeks off for 6-8 months. Candidates will be completing a hotel cabling project. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player and must have experience with the following:

Must have 1+ year of experience with Cat5, Cat6, or fiber optic installations in commercial or residential environments.

• Terminating panduit data jacks.

• Completing work in new construction environments

• Possess working knowledge National Electric Code (NEC) with regard to the low voltage industry.

• Any CCTV, access control, or AV experience a plus but not required.

Must possess:

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• A High School Diploma or equivalent (Vocational/Technical/Business School strongly preferred)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
