NSC Staffing is actively seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to lead the validation of quality information technology systems in compliance with federal and international regulations. This critical role supports cybersecurity operations and incident response activities and requires a high level of technical expertise with enterprise-level SIEM and SOAR platforms. Ideal candidates will bring leadership experience within SOC environments and a strong foundation in cybersecurity methodologies and compliance processes.
- Lead compliant validation processes for IT systems, including the creation and maintenance of formal validation documentation and SOPs.
- Coordinate with clients, programmers, developers, and global/domestic operational personnel to ensure systems meet regulatory requirements.
- Identify current and future needs for secure and compliant IT operations and recommend solutions for implementation and governance.
- Monitor and report the status of validation activities and compliance efforts to regulatory bodies and internal leadership.
- Remain current with federal and international cybersecurity regulations, audit standards, and industry best practices.
- Oversee and support the development and continuous improvement of incident response programs and cyber threat protocols.
- Lead risk mitigation efforts during incidents, ensuring timely response, recovery, and resolution.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior cybersecurity staff, fostering a collaborative and compliant security environment.
- Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 7 years, or Ph.D. with 4 years.
- A relevant professional certification (e.g., GIAC, CISSP) may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a SOC or cybersecurity operations environment.
- Expertise with SIEM and SOAR platforms such as Splunk and Cortex xSOAR/XDR.
- Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity incident response programs and tools.
- Preferred certifications include:
- GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Experience managing diverse cybersecurity teams is a strong plus.
