Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

Location: Macon, GA 

Pay Rate: $15 - 22/hr depending on experience

Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians for long term opportunities, to provide assistance with the pulling, instillation, and termination of low voltage cable. The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player.  We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Basic scope of work includes:

• Must have knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Wire and install hardware used in fire alarm systems
• Read, understand, and follow industry and project specifications and drawings
• Meet all installation deadlines and demonstrate efficient use of manpower
• Strong understanding of Local Fire Code, NFPA 72, NEW 70 and other applicable codes
• Ability to successfully communicate with customers and project team members

Also:
• Experience pulling and terminating cables
• Ability to climb ladders and work off boom lifts
• Solid base knowledge of conduits
