Production Support Specialist II (SD)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be physically able to transit shipyard and climb stairs.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsible for timely and accurate administration and production support to department. Provide effective and efficient administrative support services.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including but not limited to managing office supplies and equipment, answering multiple phone lines, and overseeing the daily flow of mail, correspondence, and filing needs.
- Collect, verify, and enter data as required to maintain department spreadsheets and other report documentation. Update, run, sort, and distribute department reports.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Maintain department records and files.
- Order office supplies and assist with shipping and travel when necessary.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Use discretion when handling sensitive company and personnel matters.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) to five (5) years experience in an administrative support capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various spreadsheet programs desirable.
- Ability to type 55 WPM desired.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be flexible, resourceful, and be able to work fairly independently.
- Ability to gain knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures.
