Position Overview
NSC Technologies is hiring an NDT Level II / Paint Inspector for a project in Norfolk, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in NDT, paint inspection, or related fields, with a strong background in coordinating, supervising, and performing system-level testing in a shipyard environment. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking a long-term position in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise system-level testing for Navy-related projects.
• Collaborate with government representatives, trades, and ships' force to ensure successful project execution.
• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and serve as a NAVSEA Paint Inspector (NBSI).
• Cross-train in quality assurance, including maintaining ship project records.
• Provide technical guidance to teams and ensure compliance with Navy standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in NDT, paint inspection, or a related field.
• Navy Background: Experience with GSM, MM, or EN roles is preferred.
• Marine Experience: Minimum of 17 years of Navy marine experience in ship systems required.
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Coordination Skills: Ability to manage complex systems testing and collaborate with multiple teams.
