NSC Staffing is currently seeking a direct hire Shop Press Operator for a company in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
Job Summary: The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and straighten metal sheets and plates. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
General Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine specifications, such as material type, size, and shape.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bending and forming of materials.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and throughout the course of the shift.
