NSC Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Superintendent for pre engineered steel building erection company.

JOB DETAILS:

PAY: $40 - $50 hourly or 93K - 117K Yearly

HOURS: 45+

DURATION: Direct hire

SCOPE:

• Superintendent 40/50 a hour or 93K/117K a year
• Work with foreman running job to schedule day to day work.
• Schedule employees
• Work through employee conflicts/ issues with office.
• Make sure company policies are followed.
• Hire/ fire employees.
• Know when more labor is needed.
• Ensure materials are installed efficiently.
• Quality control.
  • Ensure materials are installed correctly.
  • Inspect and review work/ welds.
  • Fix/ come up with solutions when issues arise.
  • Help create a quality control process.
• Train/ schedule outside training for workers.
  • Help new workers understand the process- hands on onsite training when needed.  
• Help plan on how to correct manufacture defects when needed.
• Schedule/ haul equipment
  • Make sure the proper equipment is onsite when needed.
• Work through come up with solutions when equipment breaks.
• Work with super and PM on building issues/ items needed to be ordered/ reworked.
• Review weekly time.
• Make sure jobs are set up correctly.
• Come up with Plan with foreman on how to set building the best and fastest way.
  • Create plan upfront for:
    • Shakeout
    • Steel
    • Detail
    • Siding
    • Roof
    • Trims
