Position Summary: Anistar is seeking a RF Systems Engineer for a direct hire opportunity. 

Job Description:

• Provide on-site support for existing complex public safety communication systems in Florida.
• Take the lead in mentoring and guiding a group of technicians, contributing to their professional growth.
• Collaborate with management and clients to identify, propose, and implement opportunities for system enhancements.
• Prepare needs assessments for State and Local Government Agencies and support the company team during sales presentations.
• Create and present project schedules and objectives, ensuring that timelines are met.
• Engage in or lead discussions with clients, consultants, vendors, and other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver field support for public safety communication systems, including analog/digital radio networks, IP networks, microwave links, and wireless data.
• Assume a leadership role in guiding and developing technicians, fostering their talent.
• Work closely with management and clients to pinpoint possibilities for system improvements.
• Develop needs assessments for State and local agencies and provide support during sales presentations.
• Produce and present project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.
• Participate in or lead discussions with clients, consultants, vendors, and other personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements: 

• Possess 5+ years of experience in maintaining extensive public safety radio networks.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of L3Harris land mobile radio (LMR) systems, simulcast, P25 radio technology, and microwave systems.
• Exhibit technical proficiency in Linux, SQL server, Microsoft, Cisco networking devices, Firepower firewalls, and VMware.
• Display strong computer skills, including networking expertise.
• Have familiarity with telecommunications test equipment.
• Show understanding of TCP/IP, networking principles, and network security.
• Possess exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and customer service abilities.

Preferred:
• Hold professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP).

Travel: Approximately 25%.
