Position: Technician II 

Location: Ashland, VA

Pay Rate: $30-32/HR

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install headend equipment, all field devices for a variety of Nurse Call, RTLS, Fire Alarm and Security. Install cable and devices, as well as testing connectors, labeling and firestop
• Analyze and layout blueprints, schematics, and drawings of CTSI systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems
• Provide technical expertise for installation, repair, and service
• Ensures that projects are completed within local, state, federal codes, regulations and specifications
• Participate in approved job-related training and development programs. Participate in equipment training and receives certification, and operates equipment as needed
• Use existing site certifications to track, document, and resolve technical problems
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
• Update & maintain documentation (Time Web, daily worksheets & all other paperwork)
• Establishes effective working relationship with those contacted during the course of work, and communicate clearly, and effectively both orally and in writing
• Manages multiple priorities and deadlines and works effectively with minimum supervision
• Ensure quality control for assigned task
• Clean up work area daily

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience or training on manufacturer systems installations; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years’ experience within the industry
• Driver's license with clean driving record
