NSC Staffing is hiring a Visual Work Instructions (VWI) Specialist to develop quality and accurate Visual Work Instructions based on digital design data and build plans. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer-aided design, interpreting complex systems, and supporting manufacturing and installation processes with clear and effective visual instructions.
- Analyze digital design data and integrate it with build plans to create quality Visual Work Instructions (VWIs).
- Interpret design elements and system portions to ensure VWIs meet all manufacturing and installation requirements.
- Utilize computer-aided design tools and graphic platforms, including Teamcenter, NX, SAP, NGP, and TDP.
- Incorporate required design changes into Visual Work Instructions.
- Monitor project status and report progress to management regarding material availability and potential production issues.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the timely delivery of VWIs, addressing productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
- Assess project challenges and develop solutions to meet operational objectives.
- Associate’s degree or other 2-year technical degree in a related discipline.
- Experience with digital design systems, preferably Teamcenter, NX, SAP, NGP, and TDP.
- Ability to interpret and enhance design data for manufacturing and installation.
- Strong collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to project changes and evolving requirements.
- Effective communication skills for working with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- No Travel Required
- Primary work location outside the yard gates
- Remote work not available; this is an on-site role
- Building equipped with elevators
- Yardwide access not required
- PPE not required for this role
